What is Innovation Network?
Innovation is an important priority of the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy), and one of the objectives of the CAP strategic plan is – effective cooperation between producers, processors, advisors and researchers, ensuring up-to-date research development and knowledge transfer.
In particular, three actions contribute to this goal:
- Knowledge Transfer
- Advisory Services
- Cooperation
The objective of the “Cooperation” measure in the CAP strategic plan is to encourage enterprises to enhance research and development and implement technological and economic innovation. Current measure provides support for projects applying funding to solutions that meet the practical needs of a single entrepreneur, as well as for innovation activities that connect several actors, such as innovation clusters.
Estonia is a part of the Common European Research Area, and as such, international research holds a high priority. Within the framework of the Cooperation measure, participation in European Innovation Partnership is supported to enhance the more rapid and widespread practical application of innovative solutions by means of international cooperation.
