- Field testing
  activities
  
  VCU tests (Value for Cultivation and Use) are carried out in three testing centres: Kuusiku Field Testing Centre, Viljandi Field Testing Centre and Võru Field Testing Centre. Tests are carried out by order of Agricultural Board.
  
  DUS tests (Distinctness, Uniformity and Stability) and official post-control of certified seed are carried out in Viljandi Field Testing Centre.

  The Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge (METK) certified laboratories are capable of carrying out most of the analyses required in the agricultural sector, they are able to, determine the nutrient content of the soil, determine the quality of seeds of cereals and other agricultural crops, assess the nutritional value of feeds, determine contaminants in crop products, diagnose pests and plant diseases, etc.
  
  All the laboratories have uniform Quality system according EN ISO/IEC 17025.
  Seed Testing Laboratoy is additionally accreditated by ISTA.
  Laboratory of Cereal and feed is additionally accreditated by GAFTA.
