By joining the Agreement, we pledged to respect and follow science's fundamental values and principles. The main objective of the Agreement is to ensure that science is credible and that members of different research institutions are treated as equally as possible. This will be achieved if researchers adhere to the agreed core values and principles such as objectivity, honesty, openness, cooperation, etc. In addition, the Agreement covers the design, conduct, and publication of research, the acknowledgment and resolution of conflicts of interest, and the maintenance of good collaborative relationships. We pledge to prevent, detect, and adequately handle misconduct with the Agreement.
The predecessor of the Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge, ETKI (Estonian Crop Research Institute), joined the Agreement in 2017.
