Kuusiku variety testing centre

The agricultural park conducts sample field trials and takes lawn samples, grows herbal and spice plants, manages orchard and berry garden, vegetables and decorative garden, collection garden of field crops, lime kiln and burning, irrigation systems etc.
The park is open from 9 o’clock in the morning till sunset.

Main tasks

  • VCU tests for agricultural crops. 
  • Carrying out field testing by request. 
  • Performing scientific field experiments: fertilization, agro-technic systems, crops productivity, organic agriculture, plant breeding. 
  • Management of agricultural park: sample field trials, orchard and berry garden, vegetables and decorative garden, collection garden of field crops, herbal and spice plants, lime kiln and burning, lawn samples, irrigation systems etc
