Network to innovate: How far can Innovation go?

We are pleased to invite you to an inspiring online webinar, “How far can Innovation go? – Scaling up results from EIP-AGRI Operational Groups”, which will take place on 13 October 2026. It is jointly organised by the Rural Networks of Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Poland, in collaboration with the Horizon Europe projects PREMIERE and EU-FarmBook.

This time, you will have the opportunity to discover how successful EIP-AGRI Operational Group results can go beyond the original project and reach wider audiences, regions, and users. Examples from the Nordic-Baltic region and beyond will showcase how effective communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration can help scale up and facilitate the uptake of innovative solutions in new contexts. The Horizon Europe projects PREMIERE and EU-FarmBook will also present examples of how tools, platforms, and networks can support the dissemination, sharing, and wider uptake of project results.

"Innovation goes further when we share what works."

Join us for the next Network to Innovate event, where we will explore how far the results of EIP-AGRI Operational Groups can go. From communicating results to reaching the right audiences, supporting uptake in new regions, and scaling successful solutions, examples from the Nordic-Baltic region and beyond will show how innovation can create impact well beyond the original project.

The event will bring together experts, researchers, advisors, and practitioners to share experiences and discover how good results can travel further. Together with the Horizon Europe projects PREMIERE and EU-FarmBook, we will look at practical tools, platforms, and approaches that can help connect project results with the people and places where they can make a difference.

Why join?
• Discover how EIP-AGRI results can be scaled up and taken further
• Learn from practical examples and tools supporting wider uptake
• Exchange ideas on how to turn project results into wider impact

The event will feature four presentations showcasing practical examples of how EIP-AGRI results reach wider audiences and create impact

Meet the speakers

  • PREMIERE

    PREMIERE Multi-Actor Academy

Albert Escolà i Solés from the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Catalonia will introduce the PREMIERE Online Multi-Actor Academy, a free learning space providing practical resources on the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) as defined in Horizon Europe. The Academy builds on the experience of PREMIERE and previous projects such as LIAISON and provides resources to help practitioners understand and apply the MAA when developing, strengthening and taking innovations further.

  • FINLAND

Remote Digital Autopsy for Cattle Farms

Minttu Huttunen from the University of Helsinki will introduce a new Remote Digital Autopsy (RDA) service model that enables veterinarians to perform cattle necropsies on farms while pathologists provide diagnoses remotely. The approach can make disease diagnostics faster and more accessible, particularly for farms where transporting animals for necropsy is difficult. The project is developing guidelines and training for producers, veterinarians, and pathologists, with the aim of establishing a practical model that could later be expanded to other livestock sectors.

  • EU-FARMBOOK

    EU-FarmBook – Taking Innovation Further

Katrin Pihor from the Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge (METK) will highlight why sharing Operational Group results is a key to make innovation travel beyond individual projects. She will show how the EU-wide platform EU-FarmBook helps make practice-oriented results from research and Operational Group projects findable, accessible, shareable and reusable, supporting their journey from individual projects towards wider audiences, new contexts and practical application across Europe.

  • POLAND

Polish Ginger – How Far Can Innovation Take Us? From Local Implementation to International Dissemination

Prof. dr hab. Joanna Kobus-Cisowska and Prof. dr hab. Piotr Szulc from the Poznań University of Life Sciences will present the “Polish Ginger” project, exploring how ginger cultivation can be successfully introduced under Polish conditions. The presentation will show how cooperation between researchers, farmers, and food industry partners led from developing cultivation and processing technologies to market-ready products based on Polish-grown ginger. It will also highlight how project results have been disseminated beyond Poland, demonstrating how a local innovation can reach wider markets and audiences.
