Network to Innovate: AgriVision – Advancing CAP Networks Training for More Efficient Innovation Projects and Improved Farmer Involvement and Participation
Target group: National and EU CAP Networks | Participation: by invitation only | Number of participants: 18 | Place: LLKC (Latvian Rural Advisory) Training and Demonstration Center
Dear participants,
You are warmly welcomed to register for the training, the main aim of which is to provide additional knowledge on the following topics:
- Effective methodologies for involving farmers and agri-food advisors in joint international brokerage activities.
- We are implementing strategies to enhance stakeholder participation and ensure efficient collaboration.
- We guide and support EIP groups throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to realization.
- We are cultivating an environment that encourages participants to think creatively and explore novel approaches to agricultural challenges.
- More efficiently exchanging knowledge and capacity building among CAP Networks in the Nordic-Baltic region to ensure sustainable long-term impact.
This would be a pretty intensive 2.5-day-long training held in Latvia. First, we will start on the 5th of August at 13:00 (local time) with a joint lunch at the LLKC Training and Demonstration Center in Lielozoli. After that, we will continue with team-building activities led by Linda Šarķe-Fedjajeva. We will finish the day by visiting the local company "Abavas"
The first day of training on 6th of August lead by Joanna Kristīne Golubeva, will cover various aspects of communication, participants' motivation types, Kolb's Learning Styles, methods such as icebreakers and group activities, and the GoMAD approach to making a difference in the world.
The methods are designed to improve creative thinking, collaboration, and goal consistency throughout project lifecycles. The training will also guide the creation of classes, workshops, negotiation sessions, and seminars.
On the last day of training, we will focus on integrating knowledge from theory to practice. How to prepare activity plans for future events using the skills and knowledge gained throughout the training. We will also create individual checklists for upcoming meetings and workshops, as well as personal to-do lists and steps for utilizing the training material.
Technical details:
Important questions for the organizers of the training and the host is to get to know your:
- arriving/departing times and dates,
- transportation needs throught the training and
- your accommodation spot.
At the moment there are suggested two accommodation options:
1. Hotel Jelgava (hopefully all participants can stay here)
2. Agate Hotel (which is close to the LLKC office in Ozolnieki, but a bit far away from Jelgava)
