EUREKA

EUREKA was an EU-funded action that aimed to help ensure the longer-term and wider use of the practical knowledge and innovative solutions for farmers, foresters and other rural businesses.

EUREKA aimed to strengthen and improve the flow of knowledge and innovation related to agriculture and rural life at European, national and regional level developing a specific platform. It was prototyped in the previous EU Horizon 2020 project EURAKNOS, which focused on thematic networks.

Over the course of two years, the follow-up project has refined and developed EUREKA platform into the first working version of the so-called EU FarmBook.

The EU FarmBook is a single open source e-platform that collects and shares many different types of end-user materials produced by Horizon 2020 multi-stakeholder projects.

EUREKA brought together a diverse partnership of experts from 21 organizations in 15 countries to analyze the supply and demand for practical knowledge and innovative solutions created so far in 120 multi-part projects funded under the EU's research and innovation program Horizon 2020.
