Project aims to:
- determine yeast-based biocontrol agents, which are well adapted to the local Estonian climatic and agronomic conditions,
- develop the combination of biological and chemical plant protection agents for more effective disease control.
Expected outcome:
- development of new biocontrol agents of local origin,
- more efficient crop disease control by combining biological and chemical fungicide agents,
- reduction in chemical fungicide applications,
- minimized development and spread of fungicide resistance in the pathogen population,
- increased food safety.
